Successful examples
On this highly integrated production line, intelligent battery sensors are manufactured fully automatically in 24/7 multi-shift operation. The overall system consists of four coupled modules and a connected injection molding system. The components are handled by several robots and in the process module by a Beckhoff XTS transport system. Various automatic assembly and testing processes are integrated along the XTS.
This highly integrated production line is used for automated assembly including functional testing for a contactless smartphone interface module with wireless charging function for automotive applications. The complete line consists of eleven individual process and test modules, which are coupled by means of a workpiece carrier transport system.
